A new Scottish hospital is to be the first in the UK to use robots for every day duties. Forth Valley Hospital in Larbert is planning to use use robots to deliver food, carry clinical waste, dispense drugs and clean operating theatres according to a report on the BBC. It is not envisaged that that the robots will replace employees but the intention is to enable staff to spend more time with patients.
